The Office of International Services will hold an in-person H-1B Orientation – with breakfast! - to ensure that our H-1B visa holders understand critical aspects of their immigration status. This orientation will cover the following topics:
• How to maintain H-1B status
• H-1B status and remote work
• Timelines for H status and permanent residency
• When to start talking to your department about permanent residency
• Documents required for international travel
We will not discuss permanent residency in any detail at this session.
